WAVENEY VALLEY HOLIDAY PARK

It gives us pleasure to announce that WAVERNEY VALLEY HOLIDAY PARK has been chosen as this year’s winner of the ONLINE AWARD FOR HOLIDAY & CARAVAN SPECIALIST OF THE YEAR 2011, an independent Award Programme recognised both locally and nationally that is sponsored by Media Today Online.
Media Today Online is always keen to bring attention to those who are providing a product or service that stands out from the crowd and deserves to be appreciated not only by our readers, but also by a wider audience.
“We are a small friendly, family-run HOLIDAY PARK that was established in 1977, so visitors can be sure they will receive a more personal customer-focused serviced than offered by many of the larger holiday parks, said founder of the park, Eric Wall, who runs the Park with the support of his daughter and granddaughter.
This Award-winning Park offers the latest in modern facilities including 30 pitches, all of which boast electric hook-ups, to meet the needs of touring caravans,
We have taken great pains to make sure all caravans on the Park enjoy high quality facilities, together with space around each caravan, ensuring no overcrowding and plenty of room for children to play. Our aim has always been to create a friendly, informal environment within the Park in which visitors can relax and feel at home.” The success of this philosophy being evident in the many visitors who come back to the Park again and again!
The Park also has a small number of fully serviced static holiday caravans for hire, as well as a few privately owned static caravans.
Key to securing this Award was the wide selection of leisure facilities available on the Park including an outdoor Swimming Pool, a small site shop, a Laundry Room. Escorted Horse Riding facilities are also available for all ages and abilities; with highly experienced Instructors always on-hand to give advice if needed. Outside the Park’s Bar & Restaurant there is also a brick built BBQ, ideal for using in the summer months when visitors may wish to eat al fresco!
Offering a CD Juke Box, TV and Pool Table, the Park’s small, friendly Bar is open every night from 7pm and during the day, depending on the time of the year. If you feel like having a rest from cooking the Restaurant offers a good choice of competitively priced meals for all the family.
Visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to sights and leisure activities within easy striking distance of Diss; with Banham Zoo; Suffolk Wildlife Park; Thrigby Wildlife Gardens & Colchester Zoo, together with some outstanding historic houses, all on the doorstep. Nearby Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens is a must for all Train enthusiasts.
