In an interview Geoff outlined the development work at the Bay View in order to provide visitors with the latest modern conveniences and comforts of a 4*Guest House: “ Thanks to extensive improvements carried out in recent years, Bay View now boasts a Mini/Bridal Suite, complete with Four Poster Bed and large en-suite bathroom featuring a double walk in shower.  The whole house is now fitted with WiFi, enabling guests to connect to the internet from their own rooms 24/7, and they can also take advantage of the desktop computer and printer in the TV Lounge, a service which is completely FREE. For the 2011 season new larger flat screen TV/DVD’s with integral iPod docking stations are being introduced so guests can relax to their favorite songs or use their other iPod applications.”

He continued: “We are particularly proud of our connoisseurs collection of fine wines now available in our cosy Bar, and visitors will also find a selection of wine and glasses in each bedroom should they prefer a quiet drink in their room.”

Open all year, BAY VIEW’s comfortable TV lounge offers DVD's, videos, board games and books; with its well stocked Bar boasting Satellite TV for sports and music coverage, bar games and karaoke facility, or guests can enjoy a drink on the front Garden Patio whilst soaking-up some Jersey sunshine.   

A Continental or a hearty English breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room; with a wide choice of cereals, juices, fruits, yogurt also available accompanied by fresh ground coffee, breakfast, herbal and fruit teas. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for given prior notice.

Geoff and Carolyn are committed to providing the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness throughout, including their spacious bedrooms offering: Clock Radio Alarms; Fridge & Microwave; Hospitality trays; Hairdryers; Complimentary bathroom toiletries, plus ironing facilities.  Geoff Added: “All our bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished and we use quality bedding which is changed every three or four days for stays of seven nights or more.  Extra pillows are available in the rooms and we pay special attention to detail in order to provide our guests with a comfortable 'home from home' experience.”

Therefore, it comes as no surprise to learn the Guest House is a Member of Jersey Hospitality Association and has been rated 4* AA Guest Accommodation consistently over the past four years.
