Dizzi Gothic is the brainchild of founder Cheryl Mellor, who is able to draw on her talent as a designer to create both traditional and alternative wedding dresses, prom dresses, costumes, dance and stage wear and LARP/reconstruction clothing. Having worked in the manufacturing, retail and design business for a number of years, Cheryl is the driving force behind Dizzi Gothic and is both the designer and buyer for the shop.

Cheryl lives in a little terrace property in Ashton-under-Lyne with her daughter Chloe, loves the colour purple and enjoys rock music. Cheryl can design a vast range of clothing, costumes, outfits and wedding dresses, both traditional and alternative as she explained in a recent interview: “The only limit to the clothes that I can design is the materials available. All bespoke pieces are designed and made to measure just for you.” 

Cheryl has also been involved in creating costumes for Hyde Fundraisers including making stunning Dr. Who outfits.
