Introducing the Award-winning
PEACEWAYS PET CREMATORIUM

Throughout the year, the Directors at Media Today Online select organisations that have best demonstrated a proven ability to go that extra mile in not only meeting but exceeding the needs of their clients.  Therefore, in line with this philosophy, it gives us pleasure to announce PEACEWAYS PET CREMATORIUM has been selected to receive the ONLINE AWARD FOR PET BEREAVEMENT SPECIALIST OF THE YEAR 2011, an independent Award Programme recognised both locally and nationally.

Media Today Online is always keen to bring attention to those who are providing a product or service that stands out from the crowd and deserves to be appreciated not only by our readers, but also by a wider audience.

Key to securing this award was Peaceways commitment to offer flexibility and a choice of either private cremation where your pets ashes are ready for collection after a few days.
Alternatively the company also offer a communal cremation where the ashes are scattered on its’ grounds. Manager at PEACEWAYS PET CREMATORIUM Jeff Tucker added: “Whatever your choice you can also order a plaque and/or rose bush to commemorate your deceased pet.” The price for a Rose Bush is £15.00, Plaques start at £24.00 (plus 30p per letter) and communal cremations cost £70.00.

Charges for cremations vary according to the type and size of animal, with prices ranging from £100.00 for a private cremation of a cat; £120.00 for a private cremation of dogs less than 10 Kg. e.g. Toy Poodle, Terrier; £130.00 for private cremations of medium-sized dogs 10-30 Kg. e.g. Cocker Spaniel, Collie etc, through to £160.00 for private cremations of large dogs 30-50 Kg. GSD, Labrador, Great Dane, Greyhound, etc.

In selecting PEACEWAYS PET CREMATORIUM as this year’s recipient of this coveted award, the judges were particularly impressed with the diverse range of methods by which clients can commemorate their pet’s ashes, details of which can be seen on website: www.raystede.org.

Jeff added: “You can have your pet’s ashes placed in a beautiful wicker scatter pouch at no cost and this can be sent to you by recorded delivery for just the price of the postage (£10.00).  Alternatively, we also provide beautiful caskets available in three sizes Small / Medium Casket - £20.00 and Large Casket - £25.00, unfortunately due to the weight of the caskets they have to be collected in person.

We also offer elegant wooden figures of a sleeping cat Sleeping Cat (cost £35.00) and
Sleeping Dog  (cost £75.00)
which have proved very popular with owners who are mourning their beloved pet.”
